One aspect that makes The Palomino unique is the fact that everything is catered in, so we will allow our customers to bring in their own food or have restaurants other than The Palomino provide the catering. However, keep in mind that this can result in additional fees depending on what we are still expected to provide.

The main fee to consider is the room rental fee if our host minimums are not met.  50% of the difference between our host minimum and the actual food and drink ordered through The Palomino will be added to your bill as a room rental fee.

This room fee includes set up and clean up, but there are additional charges for any rental items or special services we provide.

We charge the following rental fees for these items at The Palomino:
Podium and microphone: $25
TV/VCR $20
Crystal Punch Bowl: $10
Chafing Dishes: $10 each
China Pasta Bowls: $1 each
Single Service Plates: $.50 each
Silverware: $.25/set

If you need something we don't have at The Palomino, you can rent it yourself, or we can get it for you. Items we have to pick up and return will add a service charge as well as rental fees to your bill.

The package prices for any food or beverages that The Palomino provides already includes our standard serviceware along with setup and cleanup. But any food or soft drinks catered from outside The Palomino must provide their own serviceware, setup and cleanup.

We don't mind providing some assistance in cutting and serving your wedding cake, but if we have to spend two hours setting up and maintaining your family pot luck dinner, there will be additional service charges.

We will be happy to schedule a meeting to discuss your event and provide you with a detailed estimate based on what you require for your function.

ROOM FEES

If you decide to book The Palomino, we require that half of our host minimum and a $100 security deposit be paid in advance before we can reserve the date.

Our host minimums vary according to demand:

Weekdays $200
Weekday Evenings $400
Weekends $600
Special Events $1000
(Graduation, Holidays, etc.)

For smaller groups, we also offer the option of a $10/guest host minimum.

If you meet or exceed these host minimums, we will waive your room rental fee. But ordering less than these minimums will result in 50% of the shortage being added to your bill as a room rental fee.

All room rentals are for a 4 hour time period, with a $50 charge for each extra half hour. Unless special arrangements have been made, all functions must end with our facility vacated before midnight.

Your security deposit will be deducted from your bill once we ensure that nothing at The Palomino has been damaged. Any damage in excess of the security deposit will be added to your invoice.

A down payment reserves your date, but the Palomino's Rental Agreement must be signed before your event takes place.
